The 11th International Symposium on Haemophilus ducreyi Pathogenesis and Chancroid
The 11th International Symposium on Haemophilus ducreyi Pathogenesis and Chancroid will be held on Sunday July 10 from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm. The meeting will consist of an international panel of 9 investigators who will present current studies on the pathogenesis of H. ducreyi, including mechanisms for survival in the human host, identification and analyses of virulence factors and vaccine candidates, and gene regulation. The symposium will conclude with talks on novel therapeutics for Gram-negative bacteria and the possibility of eradicating chancroid.
There is a nominal registration fee ($50 for faculty and $25 for trainees) to attend the symposium, which is supported by the ISSTDR and by grant R13AI1094924 from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
