Rokeena L. Williams
Rokeena Williams has a combined passion and dedication for meeting planning and continuing adult education. Joining the CME team as an Activity Coordinator, she worked very closely with hospitals and physician leaders, planners, and speakers to ensure that each activity was expanding knowledge and enhancing patient care under ACCME guidelines. Now as a Program Manager, Rokeena serves as the primary operational manager for the CMEs activities and its related business activities. She works closely with the leadership staff and team in Division of CME and oversees a portfolio of accredited and non-accredited continuing medical education (CME) programs and projects.
She is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Convention Event Management. She brings to CME eight years of experience in event sales, meeting management, and customer service.
Rokeena is an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the recipient of the Indiana Chapter’s 2012-2013 Emerging Leader Award, and recipient of the 2014-2015 Member of the Year Award. She currently serves as a Committee Member for Indiana Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (IMPI), Volunteer Coordinator for Crestview PFA Board, and Committee Member on the Tourism, Convention, and Event Management (TCEM) Alumni Board.
Rokeena and her husband Todd, have two children – Leland and Julian - and live in Indianapolis, Indiana.
